We do not use artificial dyes, petroleum products, foam boosters, detergents, Parabens, or harsh chemicals. Our formulas are meticulously developed to be very effective and work in harmony with the skin. Our handmade soaps are made in small batches, totally from scratch (cold-process). Our handmade soaps are also rich in natural glycerin, leaving you with soft, moisturized, and nourished skin. In fact, glycerine costs more than soap, which is why most soap companies remove the glycerin and sell it to the cosmetic industry! Sunflower, coconut, castor, avocado, and olive oils to name a few, are chosen carefully for their many benefits such as moisturizing, cleansing, soothing, and that creamy silky lather! You will not find cheap filler oils like Tallow or soybean (genetically modified) in our handmade soaps, which have no real benefits for the skin. In addition, each bar is super fatted for even more emolliecy. Botanicals, vegetable butters, and earth clays are added for their exceptional skin care benefits.
My passion for natural products began in 2000, when I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. My immune system shut down on me, after being exposed to many chemicals throughout the years with my cleaning business and the skin care products I used. This was very upsetting and difficult because of the hard worker that I was. During those 3 years my health was flu-like, very fatigued, and depressed leaving me unable to function to my daily rituals as I once did. Having no success with the doctors in my recovery, I had to find natural ways to counter act my own lack of health and well being.
My on-going extensive research led me to learn about the excessive chemicals that are so widely used in many products today. These chemicals over time affect the quality of your health. Healthy choices today make me less vulnerable to sickness, allergies, and sensitivities. Becoming energetic and passionate about life again led me to develop an interest in making my own healthy products! In 2006, soap making began while my focus was craft shows for 3 years, and then came my store in 2009. Today, my product line continues to grow! The love and passion that goes into my products is so much as important as the quality of ingredients that I choose to use.

It can be extremely confusing with buzz words like Natural & Organic being tossed onto any and every product with no real regulation. It is up to you to make informative healthy choices. Consider overlooking name brands and focus on the true value of the ingredients. If you buy Organic, look for the USDA Certified Organic Seal to assure that it truly is and nothing but. Those multiple syllable words on labels that are hard to pronounce are chemicals! While it can be challenging to avoid all chemicals, keep it simple. Less is better for you and the environment.

My wonderful boyfriend Arnold plays a big part in my success (our success I should say). He makes all of the labels for the products, up keeps the website, and maintenance for the store. His never-ending creative signs and ideas forever blow me away and bring amazement to my customers as they walk in the door. Lastly, he helps me to stay focused while keeping a positive attitude. He makes me laugh and puts a smile on my face!
